Innovational startup ideas usually come from the least expected brains. The story that you are about to read is not a fictional one or a Bollywood plot twist, but a real story from a secluded village in Maharashtra. Dadasaheb Bhagat went from being an office boy to a CEO. From serving tea to the guests and walking on footpaths to driving his own Mercedes, this man changed his life dynamics and earns crores today!

It was not a one-day task but years of hard work and struggle. So, if you are contemplating a big life decision, then have a read of his story. It might push you to make the right choice as well.

Who is Dadasaheb Bhagat?

Dadasaheb Bhagat is an entrepreneur, a graphic designer and a software developer as well. This dreamy boy hails from the Beed district of Maharashtra. His district is famous for sugarcane cultivation so the majority of workers there have a 6 month season-dependent job. Since the annual revenue of the profession was only Rs. 10,000 per month, quality education was not possible. Somehow, Dadasaheb Bhagat completed his studies till 10th standard and then moved out of his village to earn better than the rest.

After completing the 10th grade, his family could not afford any quality education courses, so he enrolled himself in ITI, where they teach technical skills without any cost as it is a governmental initiative. After completing ITI, he moved to Pune in search of a job carrying all the financial burden he had on his shoulders.

Life seemed good as he got a job as an office boy at Infosys and started earning Rs. 9,000 a month. His role was to serve water and tea to the guests and employees. His parents were happy with an additive constant earning but Dadasaheb Bhagat was never satisfied as he was not doing something out of his skills and talent.

Dadasaheb Bhagat success story

Working as an office boy, he used to observe the employees very closely, as he wished to start his own corporate career someday. Gradually, he developed an interest in software design and animation as he had excellent drawing skills since childhood. But, Dadasaheb Bhagat knew that he couldn’t come close to starting a corporate career without a certified degree.

So, juggling the day with his job, he enrolled himself in an evening design and animation class. He kept learning side-by-side because money was a necessity for him. Balancing between his work and passion, he completed the course and mastered all the tips and tricks of the industry.

Dadasaheb Bhagat’s entrepreneurial journey

After completing his course, he began working for some Hyderabad-based design and graphics companies. There, he added some more feathers to his achievement cap by learning C++ and Python. While just continuing his usual life, Dadasaheb Bhagat got the amazing idea of developing a library of reusable templates to save time and provide easy access to users.

This was just a raw idea so Dadasaheb Bhagat began his share of research to create such a platform. However, life had some obstacles to throw at him, and a serious accident cut short his journey. However, Bhagat was hell-bent on making the idea come true, so he kept working hard despite the injuries.

Finally, months of his work bore fruit when Dadasaheb Bhagat launched his first-ever startup Ninth Motion, in the same year he met the accident. This was his first setup that provided animation services to approximately 6,000 clients across the globe. Some of them were quite renowned, like BBC Studios and 9XM music channel. However, his idea of starting a library of reusable templates was still under process so he kept working on it in parallel.

Another success story: Doographics

Finally, Dadasaheb Bhagat created a project of his dream – Doographics in August 2020. It is an online graphic design website comparable to Canva that provides free templates for users. Through Doographics, you can easily create designs with drag and drop interface. Just when Dadasaheb saw potential in Doographics, the global pandemic hit the world severely. He was forced to go back to his hometown and that was when the problems started as there was not a proper internet connection.

Infrastructure posed a challenge, leading Dadasaheb Bhagat to rent a shop in the main city for his work. Faced with a shortage of skilled personnel in his hometown, he personally trained his friends to support the expansion of Doographics.

In just six months, he introduced a new platform under Doographics aimed at simplifying design and animation learning for kids. This initiative attracted 10,000 active users worldwide, making Doographics a resounding success for him!

Dadasaheb Bhagat’s net worth

All the challenging years of hard work were worth it in the end when Dadasaheb Bhagat gained a reputation in the market. Today, Dadasaheb Bhagat’s net worth is Rs. 42,330 crore. He went from an office boy at Infosys earning Rs. 9,000 a month to a CEO with a net worth of crores!

Challenges faced by this young entrepreneur

His life story proved clearly that it was not a cakewalk for him. An office boy turning CEO of two well-performing companies is not something usual and easy to achieve. Facing financial barriers and still maintaining the zeal to learn new challenging things was the most superior challenge in life, as he had to earn to cater to the needs of his family but learn side-by-side for his own skill development.

Another challenge was the lack of resources for the young boy as he did not even have proper internet in his village. Transforming the mentality of his parents and winning their trust over something that was unusual in their lifetime was a difficult challenge to overcome. But Dadasaheb Bhagat never gave up on life and continued his hard work. Witnessing him struggle day and night, his parents began supporting him in his journey, which helped him overcome everything and bounce back stronger in life.

Dadasaheb Bhagat is continuing to put in endless effort to advance Doographics in the wake of his wise words. He takes pride for designing a fully Indian design portal and hustles to make it one of the world’s largest design and animation websites. Aligning with the nation’s mission of establishing “aatm nirbhar bharat”, Dadasaheb Bhagat is getting immense appreciation throughout.
