Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam is one of the famous Indian Scientists who is also known as the Missile Man of India and has produced several successful missiles. Apart from being a great scientist, Dr. Kalam was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Along with other books, Kalam also penned an autobiography called “Wings of Fire (1999)”.
In his autobiography, Dr. Kalam inspired many people by telling his life story and journey, from being a common man to one of the most famous Indian scientists. Apart from being a scientist, Dr Kalam shared his life’s journey as a President. Birbal Sahni was born on 14 November 1891 at Behra in the Saharanpur District of West Punjab, which is now part of Pakistan’s Punjab. Sahani studied at Lahore University in Punjab, later in 1911 he went to Emmanuel College at Cambridge, England, and studied Palaebotony. He also founded the Birbal Sahani Institute of Paleobotany, Lucknow.
