But there is a special school in Gujarat without any strict rules and regulations for studies and examinations. Founded by a girl who lost her father before she came into this world, Jagruti Savani grants education to all in a unique and playful setup.

Who is Jagruti Savani?
Jagruti Savani is a 27-year-old woman from Gujarat who is currently a teacher by profession. She has completed her master’s in Economics and is pursuing her PhD. alongside teaching. Jagruti started an initiative to provide quality education for all by founding her own school in Surat, Gujarat. The bright smiles of young minds who are deprived of a privileged life due to some mishaps in life motivated her to expand her initiative so now her school has four branches.
Her childhood was not a pleasant memory, as she lost her father even before she was born. With her mother being a single parent, it was not easy to feed and educate Jagruti and her brother. All her childhood, she always wanted to lift the burden from her mother’s shoulders and today, when she did it, she is happily living an unmarried life. Today, she is earning well and living a dignified life but she always remembers her roots and so she distributes goodies and surprise hampers in the slum areas of Gujarat on special festivals to take their blessings.
The idea of providing education for all
As mentioned above, her mother was a single parent and Jagruti has seen days when they had no money for tomorrow. Having experienced a tough childhood, she always had a dream of helping her mother financially so that they could live the life they always wished for. In her childhood days, she made a goal of helping all the single mothers and sharing some part of their burden by educating their kids.
I experienced what a life without a father is. So, now I am making it better for all the kids like me or the ones in a worst situation of loosing both their parents.

This is why she opened LB Savani School, which provides education for all but it is not just a normal school. Though anybody can study here it offers some special services for orphans or kids with single parents. The orphans are allowed to study for free and the kids with single parents get a 50% fee concession. She understands their struggle like nobody else because even though she was able to complete her education, she knew that it could stop time because her mother was the only earning person in the family. Now, she makes sure that whatever the situation is, all the children must be educated.

Jagruti always had the aim of helping families who suffered the tragedy of losing someone so she opened a school. But she never wanted to burden kids with loads of syllabuses and plenty of examinations so she decided to keep her school a bit different from others. There are no strict rules for examinations and studies for the students; instead, they are asked to excel in necessary life skills.
In all four branches, 4 teachers stand at the front gate to greet the kids every morning. The special motive behind the teachers greeting them is that they greet in four different languages. Students are even taught the famous teachings of holy books like the Bhagwat Geeta and Ramayana. Even after all this, she wanted to keep the textbook language easy, so all the books taught in LB Savani School were first modified in a simpler version and then used to provide education for all.
The main motive behind this innovative style of providing education for all was that many kids at her school suffered something early in life. So, instead of pressuring them with heavy books, she wants them to live their life cheerfully.
A Woman can do everything!
With her initiative to provide education for all, Jagruti Savani opened 4 branches of her school. All her life she has seen her mother being a Wonder Woman so she believed that women can do everything in life. With this, she continues all her schools with a majority of female staff only.
All the innovative ways she figured out to teach kids at her school, she believed that nobody could do it better than a woman. The patience, talent, and smile her teachers maintain while teaching the kids at school are appreciable as they create an environment that kids find hard to leave.
Stepping the extra mile for the slum kids
While planning new innovative ways of learning for all the kids who come to her school, she uplifts the slum kids as well. Her daily hustle includes managing more than 1,000 kids and four branches. But even after all this in life, she takes an extra step for the slum kids. After school hours, she runs free teaching classes for the children of the slums in Gujarat.
They have an extra responsibility of earning for their families during the day so understanding their life needs, she provides education for all the slum kids in the evening. Apart from this, she has another great initiative in life.
Visiting old age homes – Another great initiative apart from providing education for all
Along with the motive of providing quality education for all, Jagruti is doing something great for the elderly as well. Ever since she was a child, she used to visit old age homes and talk to the people there. This satisfied her heart as she found pleasure in talking to someone who is also shallow and lonely in life.
The idea of doing something for the elderly was always fascinating for her so when she achieved great things in life, she remembered her childhood self. Today, she visits the old age homes and fulfills their requirements with her own money. Isn’t this lady doing something really appreciable in life?
With so many great initiatives in life like providing education for all, uplifting the slum kids, and taking care of the abandoned old people, Jagruti Savani drives her daily dose of motivation from Shree Krishna. This superwoman is a mother to more than 1000 kids all across Gujarat. Her life story is a true inspiration for many of us.
