Who said that your in-laws couldn’t be your best friends? Well, people! Make way, because our next women entrepreneurs are Surabhi and Chetana Shah—this mother-in-law and daughter-in-law Jodi—who are shining examples of how your in-laws can become your business partner.
With their venture Carragreen – an Indore-based startup deals in eco-friendly packaging ideas to save nature and help people in their day-to-day lives. They also manufacture eco-friendly products like paper pencils, disposable items, etc. to protect nature.
Surabhi an engineer by profession and an eco-entrepreneur by passion comes from a family of business people from Nagpur. Her family was in the food industry for the past 35 years and she used her business acumen after her marriage and started her very own eco-friendly packaging business. While her mother-in-law has an experience in the bakery industry. It is their passion and dedication that mesmerized the Shark Tank judges and won Rs. 50 lakh for 20% equity from Anupam Mittal and Peyush Bansal.

Hoovu Fresh
In our next list of women entrepreneurs are Yeshoda and Rhea Karuturi- an amazing sister duo. They founded Hoovu Fresh a new flower delivery platform that offers fresh flowers and incense sticks for your everyday puja need. Hoovu is derived from Kannada which means ‘flowers’. With their unique one-of-a-kind startup they have solved this issue for a lot of us. Apart from that they have collaborated with many temples as well for the supply of flowers and other puja samagri.
Team Hoovu Fresh is also responsible for the decorations of the ISKCON temple in Bangalore. And, they also make agarbatti from recycled floral temple waste. Their concept impressed the sharks and they won funding of Rs 1 crore from sharks Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal.
Just like Hoovu fresh, there is a couple who has put flower waste to good use by making sustainable clothing.

Quirky Naari
Malvica Saxena; an MBA graduate- founded this amazing startup ‘Quirky Naari’- which sells this beautiful quirky footwear and apparel. Their bridal footwear collection is very trendy and upbeat. You can unleash that quirkiness and the inner diva inside of you with their amazing collection of shoes that they customize as per the customer’s need, and also hand paints them.
She comes from a family of entrepreneurs from Mathura. It was in her blood to start something of her own therefore she started Quirky
This unique startup left all the sharks quite impressed. She sealed the deal with sharks Vinita Singh and Anupam Mittal with ₹ 35 lakhs.
Menstrupedia
This amazing startup was founded in 2012 by Aditi Gupta and her now husband Tuhin Paul. The whole idea was to spread awareness about menstruation, especially among teenagers.
It is often considered a taboo subject and elders hesitate is educating youngsters about it so through Menstrupedia comics. Menstrupedia won funding of Rs. 50 lakh for 20% equity from Shark Namita Thapar.

Paradyes
This is a very quirky and uber-cool idea by 26-year-old Yushika Jolly from Ankleshwar. She founded this venture in 2021 along with her husband. Yushika once had a bad experience at a saloon and then she decided that she wants to start her own hair coloring business.
It is a semi-permanent hair dye for all those hair coloring enthusiasts who love experimenting with their looks.
This unique venture got funding of ₹ 65 lakhs from sharks Aman Gupta and Vineeta Singh.

Daily Dump
In our list of women, entrepreneurs are a daily dump by Poonam Bir Kasturi. With her venture, she is promoting Swachh Bharat in a big way by reducing the amount of waste generated on a day-to-day basis. Daily Dump founded in the year 2006 makes composter bins so that you can manage the waste generated in the household on your own. She even schooled the sharks on the way to handle the waste.

GIRGIT
Last but not least on our list of top women entrepreneurs are Pooja Bajaj Shah. As unique as the name sounds so is this venture by Pooja. They are India’s first color-changing clothing brand. They make these amazing shorts, smart watches, shoes, and more which change color at different temperatures for kids and adults- sounds interesting!
This venture was started during the pandemic when Pooja’s husband Benoy Shah showed her a color-changing pigment used in the textiles; that’s what motivated this women entrepreneur to start this unique venture Girgit.
This unique startup got funding of Rs. 20 lakhs from shark Namita Thapar.
