Knowing these young child prodigies is getting interesting with each new talented mind. Another star here is Manya Harsha. She is a 13-year-old girl from Bengaluru, India, who recently received the 2023 International Young Hero Award from the government of India for her talented work. While everybody was enjoying the pandemic phase by playing different games and trying different dishes at home, Manya was busy in discovering ways to turn kitchen waste into something useful.

Today, she makes colorful papers from dry vegetable waste. You can write, draw, paint, fold, and create art on it. When you’re done, you can put it back in the soil as fertilizer. It’s a win-win!

4. Dommaraju Gukesh

Dommaraju Gukesh is one of the most famous child prodigies in India. Grandmaster Dommaraju Gukesh is a 17-year-old top-ranked chess player breaking all records in the country. He outshined Vishwanathan Anand, the most known face in the history of Indian chess. He is a dominant force today as he qualified for the third round of the Chess World Cup. His current world ranking is 11. Children’s Day 2023 calls for more such young talented minds to make India unbeatable at the international level.

5. Vivek Kondajji

Vivek Kondajji is a boy from Bengaluru, Karnataka, who was never a studious nerd. He liked creative art and crafts and was always fascinated by them. Refusing to make a career with a strong educational background, he decided to do what he loved the most. Vivek started carpentry as a hobby when he was 12 and initially, he used to make small things for household decor items.

But later in life, he took it as a profession and at 17 years of age, he started making interesting mathematical wooden machines and games to help kids with the calculations and algorithms. Vivek is a true inspiration that it is not required to be a bookworm to be successful in life, all you need is dedication.

This Children’s Day, instead of looking for a perfect way to celebrate, let’s find happiness in small things by appreciating our kids just the way they are.
