The Journey of a Cabin Crew Artist
Hailing from Nagpur, India, Akanksha Sehgal is an independent woman who has multiple dreams in life. Refusing to compromise any of her dreams, Akanksha made sure that she fulfilled them all. She completed her education in Nagpur and got a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Soon after completing her degree, she started working with frequency modulation station Radio Mirchi as their celebrity manager. She loved her work but just like most of the females, Akanksha carried a dream of becoming cabin crew someday. She left her job at Radio Mirchi and put in all the effort to become the cabin crew. Soon, Akanksha was well settled with a cabin crew job at the leading domestic and international airline, Indigo!
Her admiration for flying was fulfilled. It was all like a dream for her but then reality hit. Akansha was always a goal-oriented lady and she wanted to be cabin crew only because of her love for flying. But there is an age limit and anyone is only allowed to fly until then. After that, one working as a cabin crew is handed a paperwork job on-site.
Akanksha never wanted to do something that was not her passion so she was worried about her career after she reached the age limit for flying as cabin crew. So, her search for something huge and special started again but this time, her husband was standing strong by her side for all the ups and downs to come.
Start of her resin craft career – Unique Resin Creations!
Akanksha has always been an art lover since childhood. Once she tried her hands on resin craft out of curiosity and gifted her fiance. He loved it so much and was shocked to see the level of creativity and talent. He began encouraging Akanksha to pursue this as her profession and since she was always attracted towards art & craft, she gave it a thought and followed her heart.
Along with her job, she began making some resin art products. Initially, it took time for her to understand the technique behind a perfect resin art product but as her heart was dedicated to following art & craft, she gave it her full effort and left her job to pursue it as a full-time profession. And that’s how her own brand – Unique Resin Creations started.

Challenges in her art and craft journey!
Just like no business has a cakewalk to success, Akanksha and her resin craft also had to face challenges. Her major challenge was that even after having a supportive family, she had to make everyone understand the purpose behind leaving her well-settled life and continuing where her heart was.
Secondly, she was born and bought up in Nagpur and got married in Faridabad, Haryana. Having no idea of the new city and starting a business was a challenge for her as locating raw material for her resin craft was not an easy task. But continuing what her heart wanted, Akanksha kept going!

It was a surprise for his fiance and when she received the resin craft, it was so overwhelming for her that she called the artist to thank her especially and shared her feelings with Akanksha mentioning that her beautifully crafted art made her emotional. This made her day and motivated her to continue her art & craft as it is bringing smiles and glory to her customer’s lives which was a great emotional boost for her. Fulfilling all the responsibilities of her married life, this 31-year-old woman knows how to make time for her dreams and aspirations. She believes that no responsibility in life could hamper your self-growth and force you to leave your dreams behind. Akanksha was a cabin crew earlier and today she is a resin craft artist but she was always a wife and a daughter-in-law. Her roles never hampered her growth so the only advice she wants to give out to all the ladies is that be the person this world wants you to be but never lose your individuality in the process.
