What you will need:
- 1 Cup of water
- 3 Tablespoons of unflavored gelatin
- 1 Tablespoon of salt
- 10-15 Drops of your flavoured essential oil
- Food coloring(optional)

- Foil if you do not have a vented lid for your glass jar.
Preparation:
- In a medium-sized pan, heat the water over medium heat.
- Stir in the salt until it is completely dissolved.
- Mix in the unflavored gelatin.
- Remove from the flame and stir in the essential oil.
- Pour it into a small glass jar once it has cooled down a little but not gelled.
- Add food colour.
- Allow it to totally settle before covering it with a vented lid or a piece of foil.
- If you are using foil, make sure to punch a few holes in the foil with a toothpick or a pin, so that the fragrance can slowly diffuse into the air.
- Paint and tie colourful ribbons around the jar to decorate if you gift it to someone.
2 Baking Soda Room Freshener
Baking soda has multiple uses around the home, but it is most useful as a smell absorber. It is an excellent ingredient for healthier, eco-friendly, and cost-effective air fresheners.
What you will need:
- Glass spray bottle
- 1 Cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda
- Powdered cinnamon
Preparation:
- Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle.
- Give it a good shake.
- Voila! It’s ready to be used.
3 Dried wheels of Citrus Room Freshener

- They should be slightly flexible, not crunchy, but also not juicy.
- If not, put them in for another 2-1 min and repeat until they are dry.

- Fruits: apple, orange, and lemon.
- Cinnamon sticks

- Whole Cloves

- Prepare the fruit by slicing it.
